Echizen Washi

I had never seen this until I started living in this village.....

It was dead already, so it must have been much smaller than the original size.... I got bite this May on my foot and it was really awful and so much in pain. It was in my rubber boot. I screamed and ran into my neighbor's house not knowing what to do. We called my boss's mother, 86 years old. She advised me to wash it with cold water......

Well, the pain became less and less and I could sleep very well at that night in the end. But it kept swollen for two days.

Everyone asks me, ` Then why do you still live there ? `

I answer, ` I love this adventurous life staying and feeling close to natuer ! `.

Maybe I'm crazy enough.....
